Jonathan Iyamu
Osarumwense Jonathan Iyamu hails from the oil rich Niger delta in South-South Nigeria. He obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1995 from word of faith group of schools. He proceeded to Auntie Maria College where he obtained the West African Examination Council WAEC in 2001. He gained admission into Madonna University in 2001 to study medicine and surgery but he was unsuccessful in his bid to become a medical doctor. Undeterred by his situation at that time, he sat for the international general certificate examination (G.C.E) and obtained the Cambridge advanced level result and then proceeded to the University of Benin to study environmental science in 2006 where he obtained a Bachelor’s in science.
He holds a postgraduate diploma in education and a master’s degree in public health (in view) from University of Uyo Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Over the years he has participated and obtained several professional certifications from prestigious universities and organizations across the globe, amongst is the – 16th St Gallen International breast cancer symposium Austria. (19 CME Credits) Arab Health Summit.

Jonathan Osarumwense Iyamu currently works as a journalist for the federal government in Nigeria at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (Radio Nigeria). This has strategically placed him as a member of the Nigerian union of journalist and the Nigerian institute of strategic management. He founded the Magdalene Iyamu Cancer Foundation shortly after his beloved mother was diagnosed with a malignant tumor on her breast with no significant medical or genetical history of cancer.
